As we are in the midst of planning, fun and adventure of the Christmas Season of 2021 with family, friends, here at Wanderlust Excursions I am on tap for Group Travel for the Christmas Holidays of 2022! Looking forward to rekindling old and creating new friendships as I share 2022’s NYC Holiday Extravaganza Tour! New York has long been one of my personal favourite cities to explore and during the lead up to Christmas, New York City is sure to ignite your inner child!
November, 2022 – Join me for 4 days/3 nights in the Big Apple taking in the sights and sounds of the upcoming Holiday Season. Beautiful decorations adorn the NYC streets, buildings & stores.
Here are but a few of the events that await:
- Radio City Rockettes – Christmas Spectacular – a must see for all ages. This production never disappoints! The music, choreography and surprises will certainly leave you wanting more!!
- Store windows along 5th Avenue and of course Macy’s at Herald Square will have you in a holly jolly shopping mode for sure. We will be spending time at Bryant Park’s Bank of America Winter Village. Stroll your way through the many huts housing beautiful goods and treats for your shopping pleasure. Perhaps you’d like to take an opportunity to skate on the outdoor rink; enjoy food and beverages and take in the NYC vibe!
- During our time in the “City that Never Sleeps” we will take in some of the top tourist must see & do: Times Square, Central Park, and Rockefeller Center to name a few. As we make our way around town we will see many iconic buildings and places that this wonderful city is famous for!

In 2022 we are excited to add a second holiday travel adventure, “Sailing for Wishes” in support of Make-A-Wish Canada. www.makeawish.ca Christmas on the Rhine aboard AmaWaterways beautiful AmaCerto, sails from Amsterdam, Netherlands to Basel, Switzerland! Along the Rhine River are UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the Rhine River Gorge & the Cologne Cathedral.
- Sailing Dates: November 29th to December 6th, 2022
- Four (4) Countries
- Daily Excursions – Each day’s choices have something for everyone’s liking
- Christmas Markets in town squares beautifully adorned with holiday treasures. Don’t forget your mug of gluhwein (mulled wine) & your mug is a souvenir from that market.

Also teach your children/grandchildren the importance of giving back and supporting Make-A-Wish to help children who are unfortunately afflicted with life threatening disease or debilitating health conditions.
I believe and can often be head telling people that travel is the Best Classroom there is. Especially for children & “Sailing for Wishes” can be one of the greatest lessons we as parents/grandparents can teach our children.
